Mons Draconis Anniversary / Dreiburgen Spring Tournament
February 27, 2010
Old Traditions will be honored - Plague Rats will once again invade our fair land. There will be skirmishes to be won, and A&S competitions to showcase our artisans. Armored Combat will include:
- Plague Rat melee,
- Rose Melee and a
- Heavy Combat Tourney.
The Canton would like to extend the invitation to the Rapier and Unarmored Combat communities to come out and play.
The Canton will also host our traditional Non-combat competitions. Contests will include:
- Ode to a Plague Rat (poetry or song),
- Edible Rose (roses in the recipe or a dish looking like a rose), Performance Rose (any *performance of less than five minutes themed for the rose),
- Artistic Rose (any rose themed artistic endeavor).
Also there will be an Embroidery competition of the Pattern of the Day provided onsite. Camping is available onsite both as individual tent sites and RV sites, and arrangements for group camp site space can be made if there is sufficient interest.
Site fee(s): Adults 13 and older, $5.00 ($3.00 surcharge for Non-Members will be added), ages 6-12 $2.00, ages 5 and under are guests of the Canton.
