Archery Tourney
A Kingdom Archery Tourney will be held on 13 March A.S. Xvii (1983) in the Barony of Dreiburgen. The Tourney will be held at the Archery Range at the University of California at Riverside.
There will numerous different contests testing the Archers’ skills, and awards will be given to the victors of these contests as well as to the overall victor of the Tourney.
I addition to the Interkingdom Competition there will be the ever-popular Archery Quest, and a Clout Shoot. Other forms of targets and contests will be announced at the Tourney.
Archers should bring their own archery equipment, ant at least enough arrows to allow the archer to shoot as many arrows as possible in 60 seconds. (Twelve arrows is recommended.) Since some of the competitions will involve the shooting of Blunts, Archers should bring their own arrows with blunts, if possible. (Some arrows with blunts will be available for those archers who do not bring their own.)
Schedule
- 9:00 am – Opening Court
- 10:00 am – Competition Begins
- 12:00 noon – Lunch Break
- 1:00 pm – Competition Resumes
- 4:00 pm – Closing Court
Please make every attempt to be prompt, so that Opening Court can begin as scheduled.
