Dame Juliana Neuneker Hirsch von Schutzhundheim, OL has been active in the SCA since the late 1978. She received her Laurel in 1984 for Costuming and Music, but has pursued a variety of arts and sciences. Dame Juliana particularly enjoys costuming from the Holy Roman Empire 1490-1550, and Men's Landsknecht costumes.

She originally lived in Barony of Calaifa, lived in the Barony of Gyldenholt for some 8 years, and has resided in the Canton of Summergate of Calafia since 1990. She is married to Sir Arion Hirsch von Schutzhundheim, and they lead the Company of St. Martin de Tours of the Iron Brigade. She started fighting in late 1978 and was authorized in 1979, and for many years fought with the Abbey. Dame Juliana has been very active in the Marshallate.

Her given name was recently changed to "Juliana" and this is the spelling she prefers. She was also previously known as Jetana bint al-Madjus, the Harper.

Dame Juliana and her husband Sir Arion Hirsch von Schutzhundheim reside in a modest Schloss along the Neckar River south of Heidelburg, occasionally venturing out for warfare and tournaments. They supported the Schwabian League in the recent Peasant uprising. She is a member of the von Neuneck family, many of which were well known as commanders and generals of the Teutonic Order.
