Gallavally Anniversary was attended by approximately 105 people including 19 heavy weapons fighters, 5 Light weapons and 2 rapier fighters. Rapier list was best 3 of 5 fight.

Gallavally Anniversary
April 27 2002
Greetings one and all from the Canton of Gallavally. We invite you to join Their Royal Majesties and us in the commemoration of our Anniversary on April 27 2002. Come participate in a Spanish fiesta in honor of our gracious Queen. This year we will be celebrating at the delightful Wooden Nickel Ranch in Menifee.
As part of our celebration we are preparing the following events for your entertainment and enjoyment. Day events will include piñatas and a May Pole, tournaments for heavies, lights and rapier in the standard double elimination format, and boffers. Fighting will be preceded by the traditional helm auction.
Bring your Arts and Science efforts for entry in a people’s Choice competition. Try your hand and verbal skills in an open poetry competition devoted to our queen and all things Spanish. Join a class on the use and theory of astrology as a divination tool.
And lastly, stretch your imagination and tax your skill by entering the chocolate subtlety competition. Entries need not be made entirely of chocolate but must include it.
Fighters: Subtlety submitted by a fighter or companion in their name will gain them a life for use in the tourney. The day will be completed with a revel and roaring bonfire.
