The first tournament of Darachshire, a Canton of either Isles or Angels. When the question arose of which barony Darach was correctly attached to, the group declared independence.
Amended History: On September 14, 1974, at the banquet following the Principality Coronet Tourney, Sir William the Lucky gave Lord Robert of the Isles paperwork to establish a canton. The Canton of Darach received provisional approval in Spring 1975 and formal approval was received in Summer 1975 as a canton of Isles.
Darach's tourney was held at Bubbling Springs Park, Oxnard, CA. Baron Maihie McFergy won the Best Dessert contest and Lady Elizabeth of Esvere won Best Main Dish. Katie nicChlurain won Best the Pouch and Best Embroidery contests.
