Award of Arms scroll for Muireadhach O'hEidhneacháin, Illumination by Lachlan of Cromarty & Branwen ferch Rhys, Calligraphy by Brianna la Franceise.
This was the first award scroll I worked on. The border was painted previously by Branwen and given to the Scribe Armarius. I think I took it over at a Winter Weekend scriptorum. I added the inital letter and emblazon and, lacking the confidence to calligraph an already-painted scroll, I passed it on to Brianna to finish. Unfortunately, I had not looked up what color a "dolphin proper" is, so I had painted it silver (I should have known that had to be wrong by the contrast problems!) It was returned to me and I repainted it properly. Unfortunately, I think it is still unclaimed by Muireadhach.--Lachlan 11:27, 30 October 2009 (PDT)
