- Yule is just around the corner!!

- Site : St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 502 W. Ave K ( just west of sierra Hwy), Lancaster, CA 93534
2pm to 10 pm- site will open at 11 am for setup and decorating...volunteers needed!!! contact Lady Teala to volunteer for decorating, set up and serving. all servers and persons helping with set up ( not for your own tables please...strictly for those helping with decorating) will eat prior to the actual feast.
We are doing Yule a bit different this year . We are having a sit down feast, rather than buffet…so we need servers. Please contact Lady Teala to volunteer. We already have four servers lined up, but we need at least four more. Remember, servers get to eat first…so it is to your advantage to volunteer.
Set-up will begin at 11 am. If you have any banners or other SCA related décor, please contact Hadassah. The color theme will blue and gold ( our Baronial colors) .
The feast is being provided by Lord Torquil Seamus, with a potluck dessert buffet to follow. Please makes sure you have an ingredient list for the dessert you provide, and that it is enough to serve at least 6 people. Please contact Lord Torquil for ingredient list regarding the feast if you have questions or allergies.

Events at this year’s Yule
Table Decorating Contest - the theme is obvious…Yule, with a color scheme of Blue and Gold.
“Filk “song sing- along – Lady Teala has graciously offered to provide booklets with our favorite old “Filk” songs. So tune up your voices and join in…and remember, even if you can’t carry a tune, with “filks” it doesn’t matter!!
People’s Choice Bardic competition
Our Old favorite…The White elephant Gift Exchange No , we are NOT exchanging elephants!!! Please bring a gift which costs no more than $20.00, and that is SCA related/relevant. For those who brew, the gift may be of an alcoholic nature, but please mark the package as “over 21 only”. Participants must be over age 10 please.
A visit from St. Nicholas Parents of children 10 and under, please provide a gift for St. Nicholas to present to your child.
Games, Feasting and Court Dancing…and maybe a few surprises along the way.
