Dreiburgen Yule AS LII (2017) Gallivanting in Gallavally
On Saturday, December 2, 2017 The Barony of Dreiburgen invites all good gentles to celebrate Yule. We will be honoring three groups of people who have gallivanted to foreign lands. Foods commemorating the seasonal celebrations of the Vikings (Jol), Moors (Mawlid), and Jews (Hanukkah) will be presented for your culinary pleasure.
Since dessert will be by Pot Luck, the for the Feast will be by donation, but please RSVP by Monday, November 27th on the Facebook Dreiburgen Yule 2017 page to ensure your place.

Directions to Country Lake Mobile Home Park: From the South take I-215 to Ramona Expressway, turn right onto Ramona Expressway, turn left onto State St., turn right into Country Lake Mobile Home Park (past college) From the North take I-10 to Beaumont Ave (Hwy 79), turn south to go down Lamb Canyon, take Gilman Springs Rd. exit, turn left onto Gilman Springs Rd., turn left into Country Lake Mobile Home Park (about ½ mile after bridge) From the West (Riverside/Moreno Valley) take I-215 to CA-60, exit onto Gilman Springs Rd., turn left into Country Lake Mobile Home Park (about ½ mile after bridge)
Directions inside park to Large Clubhouse: Upon entering park stay on Country Lake Dr. (right of office), turn right onto Saddleback Dr. turn left onto Clubhouse Dr. (after pool), parking around clubhouse. Additional parking turn left after clubhouse onto Park Ln. and right onto E. Lake Dr.
Registration cost: There is no Registration cost for this event.
Doors open 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Court at 4 p.m.
Activities: Games – Backgammon tournament and bring other games as you please. Bard of Dreiburgen competition. Gift Exchange with Viking Plundering – if you wish to participate please bring a wrapped item $5-$10 value for exchange. Table Decoration Competition Feast Dessert Pot Luck Toys 4 Tots drive – bring unwrapped toy for donation.
Feast: First Course – Viking Calf Tongue in dill and coriander Salmon on Turnip Stew Peas in a Bag Bread from Burka
Second course – Moorish Stuffed Dates Hummus Cucumber/onion salad Pomegranate Chicken served on bed of Saffron Rice
Third Course – Jewish Moroccan Carrot Salad Lamb with Honey & Apricots Cheese Latkes
