Starting in 1996 the then incipient canton of Mons Draconis was granted the right to use Dreiburgen Spring Tournament as their anniversary

Mons Draconis “Beltane” Celebration

A Whimsical Poem:
The spring wind teases the leaves of every tree; a child’s laughter is heard. The fairies return from their winter respite, carefree and full of fairy mischief and fairy delight. Beltane (Spring) marks the passage into the growing season, the immediate rousing of the earth from her gentaly awaking slumber, a time when the pleasures of the earth and self are fully awakened. Flowers hidden once before spill forth their glory for all to embrace.
