The College of Saint Artemas would like to cordially invite the populace to join us in celebrating our 21st anniversary! The event will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the beautiful Stonehenge Park on UCSD campus, 9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla CA 92093. The day's entertainments will include archery, heavy weapons, rapier, and unarmored combat tournaments. There will also be youth combat. We will be holding several games such as Haunkerhowsen and the tower game; there will no longer be a play. Taxes have continued to rise, despite students' grumblings….. keep your eyes and ears open in case a riot occurs!!
Following the tournament, we will hold a revel at UCSD’s International Center; maps will be available at the tournament. There will no longer be a feast as mentioned in the last announcement. There will be dancing and snacks, but dinner will not be served, so please plan accordingly. We will also be holding our annual fund-raising arts auction; this auction will start as a silent auction at the beginning of the tournament and wrap up as a live auction before closing court. Please contact the event steward at seneschal@saintartemas.org if you would like to donate an item for the auction.
