From the Crown Prints

The seventh monarchs of Caid will be chosen on Saturday, April 11, at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa (Barony of Dreiburgen. This will be a one-day event with a dessert revel and (weather permitting) a bardic circle.

SCHEDULE:

  • 9:00 am Set-up
  • 10:00 am Opening Court
  • 11:00 am Lists close
  • 12:00 Combat begins
  • 5:00 pm Closing Court

CONTESTS:

  • On-the-spot embroidery, sponsored by Vanessa de Linn; prize to be announced
  • Best Fruit Dessert, sponsored by Alina of Dreiburgen; prize TBA
  • Most aesthetically pleasing, SCA-legal usable weapon, sponsored by Edvin of Runedun; prize, a weapon (a mace).
  • Heraldry Contest, sponsored by the Kingdom College of Heralds; prize
