The Shire of Heatherwyne cordially invites you to join us with feasting and fine fellowship on the 8th day of January, 2005 for the Kingdom of Caid's 12th Night A.S. XXIX. We will meet to Celebrate the New Year and honor those core concepts of the Chivalric Ideal (Courage, Nobility, Hope, Generosity, Faith, Justice and Mercy) that underpin the noble aspirations of ourselves and our Kingdom.

Master Laertes McBride and THL Bridget Lucia MacKenzie will be invested as Altavia's 4th Baron and Baroness during Twelfth Night's morning court.

The Shire of Heatherwyne cordially invites you to join us with feasting and fine fellowship for the Kingdom of Caid's 12th Night A.S. XXXIX.

We will meet to Celebrate the New Year and honor those whose core concepts of the Chivalric Ideal (Courage, Nobility, Hope, Generosity, Faith, Justice, and Mercy) that underpin the noble aspirations of ourselves and our Kingdom.

It can be shared that each course of this sumptuous repast will correspond to a historical chivalric order. The feast will be limited to pre-registration only, with no off-board seating. Please check the Shire website for the menu ingredients available upon request.

There will be a table decorating contest for the best use of chivalric symbolism, as well as a contest for the best expression of one (or all) of the 7 virtues in prose, poem or parable.

Schedule for the Day:

  • 8:00 am - Site opens
  • 10:00 am - Court
  • 12:00 pm - Lunch break
  • 1:00 pm - Court resumes
  • 4:30 pm - Feast begins. . . pre-registration required
  • 8:00 pm - Feast ends/site closes

Event Fees:

  • Day only: $5.00 per person. Non-members please add $3.00 NMS1. Children under 5 years are guests of the Shire.
  • Feast Fee: $12.00 per person.
