Background

Dreiburgen Summer Arts is an annual event in the Barony of Dreiburgen. It generally includes classes in the arts and sciences and the Baronial Arts Championship, and has frequently been combined with the summer Festival of the Rose.

Championship

The Dreiburgen A&S Championship is a judged competition, requiring entries in at least three of four categories announced in advance. Only one entry in each category is permitted. Documentation is encouraged but not required. The winner is the entrant with the highest point total for their three highest scoring entries.

Winning the Championship confers membership on the Baronial Court for the year, and the winner is expected to assist with the judging for the following year. The Champion may stand behind the Baroness during court and process with the Baronial Court and Guard.
