Saint Geronimus

On Saturday, February 23, The Barony of Dreiburgen will once again celebrate the feast of Saint Geronimus. Brave fighters will battle in both individual and melee combat to defend the memory of this Saint of Dreiburgen.

Fighting will be both Mad Dog and Mixed Melee. There will be time for fighting units to do battle as well. All fighters will be required to plat ten moves of chess or one game of backgammon to be in the lists.

AND OF COURSE THE TRADITIONAL SAINT GERONIMUS NOSE MELEE.

The event will take place at the U.C. Riverside Campus.

SCHELDULE

• 8:00 Set up – lists open.
• 10:00 Opening Court
• 10:30 Marshelling and Fighting Lesson -- Lists Close
• 11:00 Fighting Commences
• 1:00 Lunch Break
• 2:00 Fighting Resumes with the Nose Melee
• 5:00 Closing Court & Take Down
• 6:00 Revel Hall Opens for Bring-Your-Own-Banquet
• 12:00 Revel Ends (very, very dry hall)

February 24

• 1:00 Curia Regis

There will be crash space available for those who wish to stay over for the Curia the next day.
