Stepan was introduced to the SCA in 1972. He first participated through the Canton of Gorgonoth, which grew into the Barony of Dreiburgen. He served as squire to Baron Sir Waldt and houseboy to Baroness Alison for longer than he cares to remember.
Mundanely, he is a Fireman and Ambulance Attendant and has various first aid training certificates. He has served as Medic and Deputy Medic for the Shire of Heatherwyne.
He is the brother of James the Inconstant.
