Garb

Inspired by an armored fighter, Lady Ovrynka Gaylis was compelled to make a t-tunic for Lord Lucius Blackledge le Scott and after having worn store bought garb for her first year in the SCA, she felt compelled to make her own garb, inspired by garments worn by other members of the SCA.

Crown Garb

Garments inspired by her device colors and the device colors of Lord Lucius and his former consort, THLady Alianora MacMahan.

With Lady Ovrynka Gaylis as his inspiration, Lord Vedr Hafsson chose to fight in the 2024 Fall Crown Tournament and therefore was made a semi-matching tunic.

The block printed garb worn to the 2024 Fall Crown Tournament was one of Lady Ovrynka Gaylis' five entries to Pentathlon 2025, which won 1st place at the beginning skill level in the Visual Category: 1.7.4.0 Surface Decoration, Cloth.

Weaving

Lady Ovrynka Gaylis was introduced to the Inkel Loom by Lady Chan Tam and pick-up weaving was inspired by Baroness Amabel Radleigh.

Block Printing

Block Printing inspired by Sigyn Hrafnsdóttir, Thea Gabrielle Northernridge, and Baron Tariq al Ghassani of Atenveldt.

Silk Painting

In an effort to showcase the absurdity that is marginalia, Lady Ovrynka Gaylis drew and colored marginalia on silk fans, which she then distributed at Spring Crown 2025 as her consort gifts.
