Join us for Caid’s Arts & Sciences Fair and Pentathlon! This year is promising to be one of the best, and for the first time ever, all Pentathlon winners (Youth, Individual, and Team) will receive award medallions.

You asked and we listened! Based on feedback received from the Kingdom A&S surveys, Pentathlon will feature gathering spaces (both indoor and outdoor) for socializing. Feedback training will be mandatory for evaluators, with feedback resources made available to entrants as well. Our new Shadow Evaluator program provides interested folks an opportunity to observe and learn how entries are evaluated during the event (conditions apply). Lastly, the awards ceremony will take place during an evening revel complete with dancing where everyone can celebrate our A&S community.

CLASSES! This year we are expanding the scope of the event by adding classes during the day. We are excited to use the opportunity as we gather many of Caid’s artisans and craftspeople to get people together and share their knowledge. In an effort to provide some of the more in depth and advanced instruction that they can provide we are trying a new process of asking for pre- registration for several of our classes. This helps us ensure that these teachers will have the ability to tailor these classes to their attendees and prepare the more complicated set-ups that these classes sometimes require. In an effort to facilitate this we have created an online registration portal.

There are several classes marked as Preregistration only, These classes will not have day-of signups, so if you are interested in taking these classes places sign up as soon as possible, slots are limited! Also, if you sign up for a class and it turns out you cannot make it please be sure to revisit the portal and remove your name from the list to allow those on the wait lists to join the class. The descriptions on the online sign up may be truncated so please refer to our in depth schedule here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yHNsbS32BZHguBmDukjvI1Kjc-tLNE3J/view?usp=drive_link
