Following the days activites there will be a dessert revel at St. Michael’s Church (across from the park). All are invited, once again, to gaze upon the old and new relics (new ancient relics always welcome), to observe or participate in the St. Geronomus Nose Melee, and/or to enter one of the varied contests.


 
In keeping with the tradition of  [[Saint Geronimus]] a nose melee will be held between rounds of the lists. Fighters fear not, noses (carots) shall be supplied (compliments of the Barony). Other contest during the day will include:

Saint Geronimus.

Welcome gentles all: on Feb. 25 House Freecastle of Dreiburgen will host this years St. Geronimus Tourney. The event will be held at Hunt Hill Park in Riverside. Following the days activites there will be a dessert revel at St. Michael’s Church (across from the park). All are invited, once again, to gaze upon the old and new relics (new ancient relics always welcome), to observe or participate in the St. Geronomus Nose Melee, and/or to enter one of the varied contests.

In keeping with the tradition of Saint Geronimus a nose melee will be held between rounds of the lists. Fighters fear not, noses (carots) shall be supplied (compliments of the Barony). Other contest during the day will include:

  • Geronimus wrestling match
  • Spear tossing contest
  • Essay Contest
  • Artifact hunt (for smalls)
  • Best dressed monk

A Double Elimination Lists along with melees between rounds. Several other contest will be announced at the events.

After closing court there will be a dinner break for nourishment after the days events, and for the revelry to come (a local restaurant map will be provided at the site). A donation of $2 will be requested for the revel(or a dessert for eight).

Contests at the revel will include:

  • Men’s Ankels (calf, knee, thigh) turning (contest at the request of the Baroness)
  • Please the Baron (at last) contest
  • Best ancient relic of Saint Geronimus
  • Best dessert (with Saint Geronimus theme)

SCHELDULE OF THE DAY

  • 8:30 Set-up
  • 10:00 Opening court
  • 10:30 Lists Open
  • 5:00 Closing Court
  • 7:30 Revel Hall Opens
  • 11:30 Revel Hall Ends
