Coronation is the bi-anual event wherein the new King and Queen are coronated. The day consists of three, major courts:

  1. The final court of the current King and Queen
    1. Awards are presented, specifically Signum Reginae, Sigillum Regis or Signum Regni. Final court is also a likely time for investitures to the Orders of the Chivalry, Laurel or Pelican to take place
    2. Presentations are made to the "retiring" monarchs
    3. The royal court, Queen's guard and King's and Queen's champions are released from their service to the monarchs
  2. Coronation
    1. The new King and Queen are coronated
    2. Peers, Baronage and Officers swear fealty to the new King and Queen
    3. The new royal court and Queen's guard are sworn into service
  3. The first court of the new King and Queen
    1. The retired King and/or Queen are granted Royal Peerage titles, if appropriate
    2. The new monarchs present other awards (though, typically, not very many)
    3. Presentations are made to the new monarchs

Following these courts is an elaborate Feast and Revel. The Sunday following Coronation is Queen's Champion Tournament.
