Mistress Saionji no Hana started her SCA career in 1995 in the Shire of Rusted Woodlands, East Kingdom as Jehanne de Wodeford. She erved as lieutenant and then Captain of Archers for that shire. She emigrated to the West in January 2002. In addition to her martial skills, she is a noted bard and researcher on feudal Japan.
