Due to the Rain forecasted for Friday and Saturday, we feel that in the interest of safety and comfort that it would be better to postpone our Anniversary celebration and Dreiburgen Spring Tournament.

We have tentatively rescheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2010. Please keep your eyes and ears open for more details...

Mons Draconis Anniversary / Dreiburgen Spring Tournament
February 27, 2010

Old Traditions will be honored - Plague Rats will once again invade our fair land. There will be skirmishes to be won, and A&S competitions to showcase our artisans. Armored Combat will include:

• Plague Rat melee,
• Rose Melee and a
• Heavy Combat Tourney.

The Canton would like to extend the invitation to the Rapier and Unarmored Combat communities to come out and play.

The Canton will also host our traditional Non-combat competitions. Contests will include:

• Ode to a Plague Rat (poetry or song),
• Edible Rose (roses in the recipe or a dish looking like a rose), Performance Rose (any *performance of less than five minutes themed for the rose),
• Artistic Rose (any rose themed artistic endeavor).

Also there will be an Embroidery competition of the Pattern of the Day provided onsite. Camping is available onsite both as individual tent sites and RV sites, and arrangements for group camp site space can be made if there is sufficient interest.

Site fee(s): Adults 13 and older, $5.00 ($3.00 surcharge for Non-Members will be added), ages 6-12 $2.00, ages 5 and under are guests of the Canton.

What better time to celebrate an anniversary? Please join the Canton of Mons Draconis as we gather to celebrate our Anniversary and host the Dreiburgen Spring Tournament! Old traditions will be honored as Plague Rats will once again invade our fair land! The CLASH of steel will ring through the Rose scented air! The talents of our artisans will be showcased in A&S competitions!

Schedule of the Day:

• 8:00 am: Site opens
• 10:00 am: Opening Court
• 5:00 pm: Site Closes
