Companionship in the Order of Chiron is awarded for outstanding ability in SCA-style archery.  
Companionship in the Order of Chiron is awarded for outstanding ability in SCA-style target archery, combat archery, mounted archery, thrown weapons, or siege weaponry. The original founding of the order recognized target archery which was expanded to the current areas of recognition as of January 2025 via changes to the [[Boke of Caidan Law]]. The order also stopped being a polling order as of that time.
