I still miss Toby. I recently lost the mug he gave me at the May Potrero and it was very sad. We toast to him at every gathering.

From Gulliver Blackrune

Of the many memories i have of this fine gentleman was the one where he joined the Blackrune Free Company. Three of us had attended the Outlands/Atenveldt war at Mormon Lake. Myself, Beoir Blackrune, and Kael Blackrune. Being there by himself and unfamiliar with the other Caidians in attendance he set up camp with us. He and I knew each other mundanely through the gaming House in Pasadena and had always gotten along well. He participated in the shire of Heatherwyne at the time. So he joined the Free Company for the weekend. During one of the last battles Beoir broke his arm. Toby took him to the hospital and stayed with him, volunteering to drive him back to Los Angeles afterwards. That was the kind of man he was. Friendly, generous, and willing to help a person in need. Afterwards he became a regular member of the band and fought with us for many years. I miss him something fiercely.

Master Gulliver Blackrune, Captain of the Blackrune Free Company, (Retired). Order of the Pelican.
