We would like it known that it is our preference that those who wish to enter the lists for Calafia Anniversary limit themselves to a single list. This is in part to help speed up the tourneys on a day that has limited daylight. It is also our belief that a true champion would rather strive to compete in one list where they can dedicate their efforts to show themselves as an example to emulate and a person with a true desire for competing within that form, rather than entering multiple lists in an attempt to try to win as much and as often as they can. Our desire is for Champions for whom others within that discipline can look up to; receiving guidance and encouragement. We would hope that our Champions would become available to the practitioners of their form, within our Barony as well as the Kingdom, to instruct and guild others along their paths. We would also request, but do not require, that our Champions join us as visual examples during Court at as many of our events as possible, primarily for Winter Arts; Gyldenholt/Calafia Friendship; Leodamus of Thebes; and at our Anniversary next year to pass on the mantle and title. | |||
