After first hearing about the SCA in 1995, Lord Rand Reynald started researching what the group was about. However, due to many of life's little challenges, he was never able to actually join and get involved with the [[Society for Creative Anachronism|Society]]. After first hearing about the SCA in 1995, Lord Rand Reynald started researching what the group was about. However, due to many of life's little challenges, he was never able to actually join and get involved with the Society. Finally, in February of 2011 things finally stablized enough that he was able to join and be active.
Immediatly after joining, he attended the Gyldenholt Newcomers Acadamy with his first event being Baron's Feast in May of 2011. Since then he has been helping the Barony in any way that he can.
