Ian MacAlister of Lancaster was the Principality Chancellor (adviser to the crown on matters of modern-day law). In the photo in the sidebar, he holds the kingdom sword unsheathed as Gregory and Vivian are crowned (this duty is now performed by the Kingdom Seneschal).
Note: Lord Ian was actually the Constable, not the Chancellor but research is being done to verify that (11/10/14) - Natalya
