Lord Athanaric Tervingi. Athanaric has been in the SCA since 2000. He lives in the Barony of Starkhafn in the Kingdom of Caid.

Persona

As a young Visigoth Athanaric served in the Eastern Roman army as a cataphract. Before Belisarius and Narsus were dispatched by Emperor Justinian to retake the Western Empire, he defected to the Gothic Kingdom that had risen in its ashes. He became a cavalry officer for the Gothic kings.
