Altavian Bardic Champion
From TE Altavia:
Along with the other absurdity at this Yule, we will also be determining our new Bardic Champion! Contestants for the Bard of Altavia shall perform a "Theme" for the barony. What does this mean? Almost anything -- It can be an original composition, or a performance of an existing piece; accurately historic, or only historically inspired; musical or dramatic - the only requirement is that your performance embodies Altavia and all its glory!
The contest will start shortly after dinner is served. The winner will be selected by Their Excellencies and ALL previous Bards of Altavia (though said judges will also be influenced by audience response!!)
As the current Bard of Altavia, I'm looking forward to a tough desicion. I hope to see a few past bards present to help us choose between the many talented performers that I expect to attend and compete.
