Highlights

On February 11, 1989 the Incipient Canton of Steinsee hosted Dreiburgen’s Saint Geronimus Tournament at Yucca Valley City Park in Yucca Valley. Approximately 75 people attended bringing 10 pavilions to surround the eric. There were 9 unbelted heavy weapons fighters and 6 Shinai fighters in the lists.

Saint Geronimus February 11th, A.S. XXIII

The Incipient Canton of Steinsee calls for all Dreiburgen to pay homage to their patron saint, Saint Geronimus, on the day set aside for him. Feb. 11, A.S. XXIII

Day’s Activities

Helm Auction to be followed by Double Elimination Heavy Weapons fighting with concurrent Shinai Lists.
Our Traditional Nose Melee.
Best relic, Best Miracle, Best Addition to the Saga, and Best carved nose of Saint Geronimus (we’ll supply what’s to be carved, bring your own knife) Ax throw, Javelin throw, Knife throw, (we will have everything needed but if you have your own bring them)
Many games and prizes for smalls.

First Remove: Various nuts, Rose water. Helen of Troy’s Roman Bread, Honey butter, Salat.
Second Remove: , Apple Cider, Herbed bread, Pea Soup, Pun??(couldn’t read this – Duryn).
Third Remove: Manchet Bread, Chicken in Sauce, Coleslaw

Directions

From Al-Sahid (Victorville area) takr Hwy 18 to 247, take 247 to Yucca Valley. At light turn right then right on the next street (Dumosa) . The site is behind the library.

Anyplace north of Palm Springs. Take any freeway to Interstae 10 east to Hwy 62 (29 Palms Hwy.) Go up 2 mountains into Yucca Valley then follow trail to site. The site is on Dumosa behind the library.
