* I used Illustrator and selected each element, and applied the color in the same gradient as the original.  I started with the heraldic colors, and then colored the mantling so it wouldn't overshadow the arms themselves.  It's really very simple.  Just make backup copies as you go, so you can return to previous iterations if you do something wacky.  Just play around and see what you come up with.  --[[User:Iulianna|Iulianna]] 13:29, 24 June 2008 (PDT)

have you ever encountered this (and if so, how did you solve it?)  I saved the file from Photoshop in PNG format.  The picture is black on white.  When I read that file in Illustrator, the file is white on black.  And not matter what I do (such as set fill to yellow and stroke color to black), I still have white lines on, now, a yellow field.  I cannot seem to get Illustrator to make the lines black. --[[User:EowynA|EowynA]] 22:27, 25 June 2008 (PDT)

If you have the time, do you think you could create two images for me. I'm basically looking for holder images for populace member's photo and device. Neither bigger than 300px width. In my head, I'm envisioning one of those can't tell if it's a guy/gal sillouhette in very bland colors, with text on it that says "looking for photo" or something. Similar for the device photo. Let me know if you have the time/desire to do this. (And if you accept this top secret mission, your artistic sensibilities should trump my vauge description of what I want). Cheers, --Kolfinna 14:57, 20 June 2008 (PDT)
