January 8, 1974 The Board of Directors granted baronial status to the Barony of Dreiburgen.

Highlights
At a New Year's Eve party at the home of Toklas Kuzn and Yolanda Kosima the populace of Dreiburgen signed the petition requesting Baronial Status. The petition was accepted by the King at West Kingdom Twelfth Night, 01/05/1974. In March 1974, the SCA Board of Directors accepted Waldt von Markheim and Alys von Markheim as Baron and Baroness of Dreiburgen and the Seneschals.
