From Sieglinde von der Hohenwüste

My remembrance of him is that he was a fine musician and could play the Caidan Bransle very rapidly on a flute.

From Bruce Draconarius of Mistholme

Ambros has the distinction of being one of the few Peers of Caid who was elevated by accident. He had been recommended to the Crown for both his Laurel and his Pelican. At an event in September 1982 (I believe it was Crown Tourney), Ambros was scheduled for elevation to the Pelican. The herald of the court, Conrad von Regensburg, called for the Order of the Laurel to come forward instead. They were well into the ceremony before the mistake was discovered. Ambros was made a Laurel; then the Order of the Pelican was called forward, and he was immediately made a Pelican, on the same day, at the same court.
