Caid's toxiphilic history goes back to the beginnings of the [[SCA]]. One of the major SCA-wide activities that began in the late 1970s was the Annual Interkingdom Archery Competition (IKAC), organized initially by Sir Jon Fitz-Rauf ([[West]]).
