The 4th anniversary of the [[Angels]] was celebrated October 5-6, 1974 at Lytle Creek Sportsmen's Park near San Bernardino, CA. The camping fee was $1.25 per person; 50 cents for day-trippers. The site had swimming facilities, fishing, and hot showers.

The day's events included challenges and melees, as well as lists for the Baronial Champion. Contests included Best Fruit Pie or Tart, Singing, Dancing, Making the Prettiest Handkerchief from Scratch, and Skulking (an old tradition that involves capes and sneaking about stealthily). A Court of Love was scheduled for the evening around the fire pit under the direction of Mistress [[Catriona nicChlurain]].

[[Griffin Freehold]] sponsored a dinner of barbecued chicken, beans, soup, and bread. Proceeds went to the Principality newsletter to pay for the three issues that had already been published.
