Yehoshua is a Jewish doctor from Cordoba in 9th Century Al-Andalus. His alternate persona is a 16th Century Spanish Converso with a crazy broderer of an English wife...he came over with Catherine of Aragon's entourage and before he knew it, he was spending all his money on thread.
