Huzzah! Once again the patron saint of wandering has made his merry way back to the Canton of Gallavally. St. Corrigan has returned from a long journey in Drachenwald. His quest was to find new and merry games to show us from his travels. Instead he ended up sharing our enthusiastic versions of the same games with our cousins across the vast seas. After spending wondrous time in their fair kingdom, our beloved St. Corrigan found it hard to improve upon the wondrous games and revelry that we have created within our fair and gentle canton.
Please join us in welcoming home our beloved St. Corrigan with a day of fighting and merriment in his honor. The merriment will take place at Sallee Park in San Jacinto
The event will include activities for all! For those in armor we have the traditional map melee, followed by heavy weapons tournament. Put your friends and loved ones in the stocks or, worse yet the dungeon of the infamous Gallavally dragon. See if the warriors of the day have the skill at arms to pierce the heart of the dragon and free the gentles. Lastly test your skill of stealth in a contest of pin-the-tail-on-the-?
Some of the gentler activities include: Contest for the best new relic of St. Corrigan’s adventures, and best version of his most recent travels (story, song or poem). A challenge of dexterity will be the non-combatant Hunkerhouser competition. Those with romance in there hearts can compete in the hand kissing contest. It is roumored that there will be fighting for children, however, St. Corrigan might have bartered the equipment away fordirections home, for you know, the lads, they will be changing the signs!
Schedule for the Day:
- 8:00 am – Site opens
- 10ish am – Opening Court (fighting and games to follow)
- Closing court at their Excellencies pleasure
- 6:00 pm – Site Closes
