(Personal information omitted; a hand-drawn map included in the article) On 13 March, the Canton of Altavia shall hold its first Anniversary Tourney to select a Champion of Altavia. The site is the PE field of the CSUN¹ campus. Standard double-elimination lists will be fought.

SCHEDULE

• 9:00 am Set-up
• 10:30 Grand March & Opening Court
• 11:30 Box lunch auction
• 12:00 Lists close & Armour inspection
• 12:30 Lists begin
• 4:00 pm Brief Closing Court
• 4:30 Dinner break
• 7:00 Hall opens for revel
• 11:00 Revel ends; clean up begins
• 12:00 Hall closes

There will be an evening Court sometime during the Revel and this schedule will be adhered to!

Contests of the day include:

• Design a Masthead for Canton Newsletter
• Wagering Contest sponsored by Sir Robear du Bois
• A Heraldry (TBA) Contest
• Name the Knights of the Round Table
• A Cloved Fruit Contest at the Revel
• A Cookie Contest at the Revel

The revel site is at 10435 Lindley, directly North of the Tourney site. Maps to local restaurants and to the revel site will be available at the Tourney. To help defray cleaning costs, we are asking a donation of $1.00 or a dozen cookies at the door to the Revel.

This is a WET Hall (BYOB) so please make plans for your smalls accordingly.
