Out of the thousands of archers in the known world (SCA), there are only a handful of archers who have scored higher than 300 in the Inter-kingdom Archery Competitions (IKAC & IKCAC). The competitions are mail in target archery (Open, Crossbow and Longbow ((Longbow is now Period with different equipment requirements)) Divisions) and a target combat competition (using the current combat archery equipment against a wooden man shaped target) where the top three archers in a kingdom as a team, average their top Inter-kingdom round, to get a kingdom score to compare against other kingdoms for bragging rights. The Inter-kingdom Archery Competition scoring round (or IKAC round) consists of two Royal rounds (a Royal round is 6 arrows from the 40, 30 and 20 yard lines and a speed end of as many arrows as possible with in a 30 second time span for score, shot also at the 20 yard line.) plus 4 speed ends (2 from the 30 yard line and 2 from the 40 yard line) each section is worth 120+ points (the two royal round ends plus the 4 speed ends) or 360+ points possible (The + is for those who can shot more than six arrows in a speed end).
