Come feast and make merry in the style of the times of Gloriana, Queen Elizabeth I. January 17, 1987 is the date for these 12th Night festivities, hosted by the Barony of Lyondemere. The side is the Redondo Beach Mason Temple. (A hand-drawn map was included in the article)

3:00 p.m. Banquet
7:30 p.m. Revel
11:00 p.m. Cleanup and Hall closes

As there will be a banquet, it follows that servers will be needed. They will pay but a pittance, $2.50, and be fed before the banquet. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lady Eden Sommerhawke

The cost of the banquet is $10 for members, $12 for non-members. The cut-off date for reservations is December 31st. Only 200 places are available for the banquet. Plese be sure to bring your own tableware. You may bring decorations for your table if you wish. Please send your reservation to Mistress Xena or Master Colin. (A reservation form was included in the article.)

In the tradition of 12th Night, there will be a costume contest. The categories will be:

Best Woman's Costume
Best Man's Costume
Best Couple's Costume

The judging will be held in the court hall immediately following the banquet and preceding the revel. The populace is invited to attend. The winners will be announced at the revel. Mistress Angelina Nicollette is in charge of the costume contest. Any questions regarding it should be directed to her.

The revel in the evening will feature dancing and divers other entertainments. There will be a bardic circle in the upstairs hall. Mistress Astra Christiana Benedict will be autocrating the revel. Mistress Eowyn Amberdrake is organizing the bardic circle. There will be a $2.00 admission fee for those not attending the banquet.

If you have a presentation for Court, please contact the Crescent Principal Herald, Master Bruce Draconarius, in writing, at least 1 week in advance.
