Hi! - while updating canton/ college pages here, I came across the best explanation I've seen about the (almost total lack of) Caidan sumptuary laws about headgear - it is on the Darach site, at http://www.darachshire.org/faqs.cfm?faq=circlets It looks like a good thing to include here. I presume one should ask Eilidh Swann, the writer, and Darach, the hoster, about linking to it - or do you want to see if it could be copied here? I'm not sure how you are handling good stuff like that. If you link to it, it might go away... and this counter-acts some of the out-Kingdom customs I've seen listed as Caidan customs that sometimes comes out of the chatelaine's office.
