THLord Thomas is a wannabe seanachie, an occasional battlefield speed-bump and is blessed with a son (Taliesin, bard in training). He’s a 12th century Scot, and currently the Bard of Caid. Well-known to the Children event autocrats, for performing for the children at events and for the Fool's parades. Storytelling repertoire includes over 300 stories, from cultures all over the world. One of the few working tellers telling the Irish epic, the Tain Bo Cuilagne. Actively recovering stories: "The Fairy Pudding" and "The Selkie Painter."

  • Co-Creator and instigator of several Bardic events: The Host-A-Bard Competition, GWW 1 and 2 (Household compete for the title of most Hospitable to bards)
  • Fyrecrawling 101, "the art of the wandering performer" Estrella, Potrero, GWW (A class where people learn the etiquette and techniques for performing at sca wars and events)
  • The Family Bardic Concerts, The Bawdy Concerts (over 17, from 1999) (Producer and Emcee, with Master Yonaton, and Baron Beorn of Northern Sea. Caid and Atenveldt; regularly draw 300-400 people or more)
  • Creator of "Fools Parade", GWW, Potrero, Estrella (Punchinella leads the children on a fools parade, ending with a performance)
  • Creator of "Bardic Swap& Shop" style classes (A teaching "bardic workshop" to encourage folks to learn and exchange music)
