:Hopefully this response qualifies as "better late than never."  Short answer is yes.  She was the second seneschal of Gallavally, and for a while I was her deputy seneschal. She changed her name to begin with an "A" when she was named one of the de Beaumonts.  It was customary at that time, maybe still is, for the de Beaumont ladies to have a first name beginning with "A." I have here a letter from Elaine of Glastonbury, seneschal of Gallavally (8/29/1990). Same person? Anyone know for sure?--Lachlan 16:37, 5 June 2010 (PDT)

Hopefully this response qualifies as "better late than never." Short answer is yes. She was the second seneschal of Gallavally, and for a while I was her deputy seneschal. She changed her name to begin with an "A" when she was named one of the de Beaumonts. It was customary at that time, maybe still is, for the de Beaumont ladies to have a first name beginning with "A." Eldwin Nightowl 14:49, 16 January 2015 (PST)
