The Scepters where brought to Caid from the Principality of An Tir and were first used in Caid by Prince Balin and Princess Lorissa. They were a gift to Caid and were used for many years; however, over time they became fragile and despite being reinforced, are not currently in use. There was, at one time, a project sponsored by the Order of the Laurel for replacement scepters but, for a variety of reasons, new scepters have not yet been made.
