Lady Monique Marie Sauniere, has been in the SCA since 2009.

Monique was born and raised on Le Mont St. Michel in the mid-12th century. As a young woman, she was married to an older man who was a salt merchant. She traveled with her merchant husband until their two daughters were born. They then settled back in Northern France near Bayeux. Her husband died and left her the salt business and much land.
