Summary

Augmentation of Arms scroll for Aliskye Rosel, Scroll by Bruce Draconarius‎‎

The recipient asked for an authentically Elizabethan grant. So the basic layout is based on the grant of arms to Charles Hewett, 1596. The achievement is based on the grant of arms to the East India Company, 1600. The calligraphy is taken from the grant of arms to Nicholas Bacon, 1569. The wording is my own, but the phrasing (and the spelling) are based on a compilation of several Elizabethan grants, e.g., the grant to Thomas Albery, 1590. -- Bruce Draconarius.
