Máirghréad is the younger daughter of Dubhghall mac Aodha mhic Néill and Ivan Aleksandrov Svolochka. She is interested in Youth Combat, fiber arts, and heraldry. Her win in the Dreiburgen Anniversary fork-throwing contest earned her the appellation of "Ratsbane," as she hit the rat on the target both times she scored a point.
