Anneyse of Caernarvonshire (mka Wendy [Brown] Helmers) joined the SCA via Meridies (Grey Niche) in 1991, shortly afterward she registered her name & device at the time (Purpure, on a chevron between three decrescents argent, a reremouse sable). She received her AOA in 1992 from their Majesties Duke Sir John the Bearkiller & Jane Falada of Englewood. Anneyse then released that device and registered a new one (Vert, two quill pens in saltire argent, a chief indented ermine) in 1998 via Caid (Angels). She started out in the Barony of Grey Niche, Meridies and then moved to Barony of Angels in Caid. She has been a member of Silver Sphinx Players, House of Dragons Guard, Shadow Legion and Iris Keepe (when she was apprenticed to Mistress Arielle de Brabazon). She then moved back to Grey Niche where she now resides with her husband, Lord Amalric von Regensburg. She loved calligraphy/illumination, costuming, silk painting & various sundry textile & fine arts media.
