Alys Meghan Cattwyn (before that was registered, went by -- my "mundane" name -- and before that -- c. 1981-1982 -- Akela de Romany). Alternate spelling "Alys Meghan Cattewynne" (this is the version registered). Inconsistent spellings of one's name are "period" for Elizabethans; Shakespeare's known to have used at least half a dozen different spellings of his name!

Persona

Alys is an Elizabethan lady, with an alter ego who's a RenFaire peddler. Despite this, she spends a lot of time in much earlier-period, simpler clothing. Despite the well-meaning advice of a certain Caidan duchess (shortly after she received her AoA), she still shows a lamentable tendency to run around barefoot and looking like a scullery wench rather than dressing according to her station (sorry, Natalya!). Rumor has it that she even appeared barefoot in court on the occasion of her elevation to the Order of the Pelican, many years later in An Tir... :-)
