Competitors
The competitors to become the 15th Bard of Caid were (in alphabetical order):

- Baron Beorn of the Northern Sea
- Baroness Briana MacCabe
- Mistress Finella Harper
- Lady Serafina di Zatti
- Lord Silenus of Mycenae
Six competitors participated in the first round, five competitors participated in the second round, and three competitors participated in the third round.
Round 1
The first round, held at Highland War on August 31, 2019, asked competitors to compose an original piece on-site, using the three words pharaoh, leapfrog, and pantheon. The winner was Lord Silenus of Mycenae.
Round 2
Round 2 will be held at Dreiburgen Anniversary, and competitors will be asked to perform a piece in the theme of the day, which is Oktoberfest. The winner was Mistress Finella Harper.
Round 3
Round 3 will be held at Isles Anniversary. Competitors will be asked to perform a period piece.
Finals
At Twelfth Night 2019, each of the finalists will perform one piece for the final round of Bard of Caid 2019.
