Embroidery is a major Arts & Sciences effort in the SCA. Styles of embroidery include:
- Blackwork (monochrome designs on white background)
- Couching (using a thread to attach a decorative cord or metal thread to a ground fabric)
- Needlelace
- Needlepoint
- Opus Anglicanum
- Whitework (cutwork, white on white, drawn thread work)
